Digital ID Card

Our digital ID card allows you to carry a copy of your insurance ID card with you at all times in your mobile phone.

How do I access my digital ID card?

To access your card, enter your details into the MyDocuments section of your student zone. You will then see an “Add to Apple Wallet” icon which you will just need to click on and that will open up in your phone. The icon looks like this:

Android Users — to add the Digital ID card to your phone, you will need to download the free Wallet Passes app to your device first. Once that is done, just click on the icon above.

How do I use my digital ID Card?

You'll use your digital ID card just like a traditional, physical insurance ID card, and show it to your medical provider at the time of treatment. They should be able to obtain all the details they need, and if you push on the (i) button on the bottom right of the ID card, you'll find more details and information about your insurance plan.

What if my medical provider requires a copy of my ID card?

If the provider needs a copy of your ID card, you can email it through your mobile phone. Simply hit the (i) button on the actual card in your phone and click on “share pass” to email a copy of your ID card to the provider right there. If they still want an actual physical copy of the card, you will need to print off the PDF version and provide this to them. Unfortunately we have no control if the provider requires a physical copy of the ID card.
