While you are in the USA, your insurance plan includes access to the RelyMD Virtual Telemedicine platform, allowing you to seek medical care whenever you need it, wherever you are.

Getting Started

To get started with RelyMD, please follow these simple steps:

Activate your account via this link
Select Sign Up and enter your personal details
Once you login, you’ll click on See a Provider, and then you’ll be asked to Verify your Benefits. In order to Verify your Benefits, you’ll need to follow the steps below:
  1. First, you'll need to call RelyMD at 855-879-4332, option 1, to speak with a care coordinator. You’ll provide them with your first and last name and date of birth, and let them know that your benefit sponsor is WellCard.
  2. From there, they will add you to the WellCard benefit sponsor, and you will be able to Verify your Benefits by entering WellCard in your account.
  3. Your account will then be verified and it will show that the per visit fee is $45.
You will then be able to proceed with scheduling your telemedicine visit.

What is Telehealth?

Illness or injury can strike suddenly. Telehealth gives you access to medical help via telephone or web, any time, day or night. Using RelyMD's telehealth service, you can connect with a provider online from any location, and receive a diagnosis and personalized treatment plan, including prescriptions for common medications, when necessary.

How does RelyMD work?

After you've created your account, it's simple to request a real-time video, app or phone consultation with one of RelyMD's providers. Your provider will review your medical history and perform a video exam or phone consultation within minutes. You will then receive your medical records and care instructions electronically, with any necessary prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy. If you require urgent care, you will be immediately referred to the nearest emergency room or urgent care center. The entire telehealth visit is completed on average within 30 minutes or less.

What health concerns can RelyMD help treat?

You will have access to RelyMD Everyday Care. This allows you to talk to a doctor by phone, video chat, or mobile app about non-emergency health issues like sinus problems, respiratory infections, allergies, flu symptoms, rashes, and many other illnesses. Your doctor will diagnose your symptoms and provide treatment, which may include a prescription.

How much does the service cost?

The cost to use RelyMD is $45 per visit through the WellCard benefit sponsor, which you will pay directly to RelyMD. Once you have completed your visit, you can submit your bills and receipts, along with a claim form, to be reimbursed your $45 fee.

Can I get a prescription?

When medically necessary, RelyMD Medical providers can submit an electronic prescription for pick-up at your local pharmacy. You would then need to pay for this prescription at the pharmacy and then submit a claim through your insurance plan for reimbursement. To file a claim, you'll need to submit a completed claim form, the receipt from your RelyMD visit, the pharmacy receipt showing you paid for the prescription, and the prescription Rx label showing the type of medication.

What if I need a referral?

If you are referred for follow up care outside of RelyMD, any further visits will be handled by your insurance and will need to be submitted to your insurance claims team for processing.

Please note — There may be some circumstances where RelyMD will treat you on a per visit basis, but your insurance plan may exclude the condition for coverage. If the condition is excluded from coverage and you’re given a prescription or referral, these expenses will not be covered under your insurance plan when you submit to be reimbursed for those expenses. Please review your policy certificate, in your Student Zone, for your full plan benefits and exclusions, prior to seeking treatment.
