InterExchange | Telemedicine

While you are in the USA, your insurance plan includes access to the 24/7 Call-A-Doc virtual telemedicine platform, allowing you to seek medical care whenever you need it, wherever you are.

You will have a limited number of free consultations included in your plan. After you've used your free visits, there will be a small fee to use this service. Please make sure to review your plan details for further information.

Getting Started

  • Activate Your Account. You can activate your account via web, mobile device, or phone once your health insurance coverage has started.

Troubleshooting Your Account

If you aren’t able to register for your account, read below for solutions to the most common problems.

Is your insurance active?

You will not be able to register for the 24/7 Call-a-Doc service until after your insurance plan has started. If you aren't sure when your plan starts, check your insurance ID card or ask your sponsoring organization.

Did you enter your name appropriately when registering?

You must enter your first and last name exactly as it’s included on your insurance enrollment. If you have multiple first or last names, you will need to enter all of them when registering for your account.

Did you enter your member ID correctly?

You will only be able to register for your account if you enter your correct member ID. Your member ID number is listed on your insurance ID card as the Seven Corners certificate number.

How Does 24/7 Call-A-Doc Work?

After you've created your account, it's simple to request a real-time video, app, or phone consultation with one of 24/7 Call-A-Doc’s providers. A doctor will review your medical history and perform a video exam or phone consultation usually within minutes.

After your visit, any necessary prescriptions will be sent to the local pharmacy of your choice. If you require urgent care you will be immediately referred to the nearest emergency room or urgent care center. The entire telehealth visit is completed on average within 30 minutes or less.

You will be able to access your visit summary and medical records through your online account at any time after your visit.

What Health Concerns can 24/7 Call-A-Doc Help Treat?

You can use 24/7 Call-A-Doc to help treat non-emergency health issues like sinus problems, respiratory infections, allergies, flu symptoms, rashes, and many other illnesses.

What Languages does 24/7 Call-A-Doc Support?

24/7 Call-A-Doc offers telemedicine services in 225 languages. When requesting a virtual visit through 24/7 Call-A-Doc, you can request to speak to a doctor in the language of your choice.

How Much Does the Service Cost?

Your plan includes a certain number of free visits, so be sure to check your policy wording to confirm how many visits you will have through 24/7 Call-A-Doc that are included at no charge. After you’ve used your free visits, you can continue to use 24/7 Call-A-Doc for a $35 per visit fee.

Can I get a Prescription?

Yes, doctors can submit prescriptions for pick-up at your local pharmacy through the 24/7 Call-A-Doc service. You would then need to pay for this upfront and submit a claim against your insurance plan for reimbursement.

To file a claim for reimbursement, you’ll need to send a completed claims form, your 24/7 Call-A-Doc visit summary, receipts, and pictures of your prescription labels to the insurance company for review.

What if I Need a Referral?

If you are referred for follow-up care outside of 24/7 Call-A-Doc, any further visits will be handled by your insurance and will need to be submitted to your insurance company for processing.
